The open exchange of ideas and the freedom of thought and expression are central to the aims and goals of EC’24; these require an environment that recognizes the inherent worth of every person and group, that fosters dignity, understanding, and mutual respect, and that embraces diversity. For these reasons, the EC’24 organizers are committed to providing a harassment-free conference experience that implements the ACM Policy on Harassment and Discrimination.
If you experience or witness harassment or discriminatory behavior at the conference, we encourage you to report this promptly using theĀ form for reporting violations of the ACM policy against harassment. An anonymous option is available. You may also reach out to EC’24 general chair Dirk Bergemann, who will forward any complaints to ACM’s Committee on Professional Ethics.
EC’24 also participates in SafeToC, a network of volunteers that aims to prevent and combat harassment in the Theory of Computing community. You may also contact SafeToC advocates for any assistance needed.
